This creamy Greek yogurt ranch dip serves as a nutritious and high-protein alternative to traditional sour cream or mayonnaise versions. It functions excellently as a standalone party appetizer or as a flavorful spread inside daily lunch wraps.
Main Ingredients:
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon ranch seasoning mix
- (Optional) 1–2 teaspoons milk
- (Optional) 1 tablespoon finely chopped chives
Instructions:
- Combine Ingredients:
- Transfer the plain Greek yogurt into a small serving bowl.
- Dust the ranch seasoning powder evenly across the surface of the yogurt.
- Stir and Adjust:
- Stir the mixture thoroughly using a spoon until it achieves a smooth, unified consistency.
- (Optional) Pour in a small splash of milk if you prefer a thinner dipping consistency or add chopped chives for a little color and extra flavor.
Alternative Bottled Dressing Method:
To prepare this dip using pre-made Ranch dressing instead of a dry seasoning packet, combine two parts plain Greek yogurt with one part bottled dressing (for example, mixing 1/2 cup of yogurt with 1/4 cup of dressing).
A liquid dressing instead of powder will result in a significantly thinner, more pourable consistency. Additionally, this liquid-based mixture is likely to separate during storage and will require re-stirring before use.
