Journal of the Zombie Years – Week 2

With how long the Journal of the Zombie Years fictional story by MotherHeninFlorida is (over 300 days!), we’ve had to break up the days in one week (7 day) sections.

For those who may also be fans – here’s the list of the food mentioned:

Day Eight

  • Breakfast: Tex-Mex Biscuits (flour extended with grits, plus shredded cheese, sour cream, and milk made from evaporated milk). Fried canned ham. Scrambled eggs (five total, shared among family; some servings gifted between family members).
  • Lunch: Scout Tetrazzini made with ramen noodles. A single batch was enough after a hearty breakfast.
  • Dinner: Salmon Burgers (made with canned salmon), rice with garbanzo beans, canned green beans (cooked thoroughly). Dessert was microwave popcorn split among the family.
  • Beverages: Solar tea and plain water. High-sugar drinks and colorful beverages avoided near bedtime. Bottled juices saved for later use.

… Check back again in the future as this list will continue to grow as we archive more.
